COMMENTS: Nice piece of music. Not my prefered style, but I like the variations & choice of instrument sounds. I seem to get a lot of distortion (saturation of a limiter?) when the bass is present. Don't know if this is intentional, but I don't like it.

COMMENTS: Sounds like an adventure in space. Sort of sounds like I have my own craft and am just chilling flying around the planets with nothing to do. Macking it out in space. More suitable to a video game soundtrack of some kind of japanese space flying game. Not a violent game sort of just flossing your space ship and picking up the ladies.

COMMENTS: I like some of the synth sounds in here, very nice indeed. Especially the pumped string/trance sound that comes in half way through. However I feel the track needs a more "ballsy" or "dancey" feel to it, more heavy percussion and a deeper bassline to drive it forward. I really love some aspects of this track, but I don't like the "tinkly winkly" aspects. It has great potential if you develop it into a "harder" track. Excellent production though!

COMMENTS: I like your use of variations on that progression; many songs lack greatly in this area, but you do a fine job of intoducing new ideas into the song. My only gripe with these wild variations (and this might just be my mood today) is that in doing this, you don\'t have a strong theme _other_ than just the bass and the chords. Along with this, the ending is not an ending, and it\'s not even a non-ending (yes, there is such a thing); the song just stops, leaving much to be desired. Also, the way you introduce and remove instruments is done with very little class. It seems that you would benefit from some more notes on one or both ends of some patterns. I want to say, though, that many of your transitions are very well done. Now, I hate it when people criticize my songs\' samples, but your samples aren\'t too hot; they sound like you ripped them off your sound card\'s midi wavetable. However, you did pretty well given what you had in that area. I\'d definately investigate getting better drums at least. A new beat might be nice, too. Remember : simple complexity is the key to a good song in this certain style. Overall, good job. I wouldn\'t take this to a competition anywhere, but I\'d listen to it in the car. Keep up the good work, and enjoy what you do - it\'s good. -tigergreg9@mad.scientist.com -Greg

COMMENTS: I recently visited your website after reading about it on the rec.music.ambient news group. I am a big fan of ambient music and have been for many years. It is an easy genre to get into, but very difficult to master, so I was intrigued to hear your music. I downloaded the track \'Meditation Colours\' and had a listen. I think it is very, very good. My favourite type of ambient is the very melodical type, with a happy feel to it. This track for me really gets good after 2 mins 25 seconds. In fact it doesn\'t just get good it gets brilliant. I would consider breaking the track into 2 seperate pieces. i will definately be listening to this track again and again, and I feel privileged to have heard it. I will download more in the near future. Keep up the good work, if you specialise in the ethereal, happy ambient, I think you will continue to produce some quality stuff. All the best, Jason
